SW構成

動作確認に適用したドライバNVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-6629-pkg2.run(AMD64用）はドライバ集のサイトここより入 手できます。

詳細は以下を参照してください。

1. ドライバ集のサイト(上記)よりドライバを入手します。
   - nVIDIAドライバ: NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-6629-pkg2.run
   
   
2. rootアカウントでテキストモードでログインし、ダウンロードしたドライバのインストールを始めます。
   # sh ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-6629-pkq2.run
   
   
3. ドライバインストールのメッセージに従って、インストールを行います。
   
   (手順例)
   1. Please read the following LICENSE and then select either "Accept" to accept the license and continue with the installation, or select "Do Not Accept" to abort the installation.
      →Accept
   2. No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; would you like the installer to attempt to download a kernel interface for your kernel from the NVIDIA ftp site (ftp://download.nvidia.com)?
      →No
   3. No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; this means that the installer will need to compile a new kernel interface.
      →OK
   4. WARNING: Your kernel was configured to include rivafb support as a loadable kernel module.
      →OK
   5. Installation of the NVIDIA Accelerated Graphics Driver for Linux-x86 (version: 1.0-6629) is now complete.
      →OK
   
   
4. ファイルコピーを行います。
   # cp -a /dev/nvidia* /etc/udev/devices
   
   
5. /etc/X11/xorg.confファイルを修正します。
   ・"Section Module"内のLoad "dri"の先頭に#を追加してコメントアウトします。
   ・"Section Device"内のDriver "nv"を Driver "nvidia"に修正します。
   
   
6. X Window Systemを実行して、nvidia ドライバがロードしているか確認します。
   # lsmod
